A Messier Gallery

This is a collection of some of the best images of the Messier Objects I've been able to find on the internet. There are three levels in the gallery. This is the first level and contains the Messier number, a thumbnail, and a brief description of each Messier object. If you click on the Messier Number or thumbnail you will reach the second level, which is a table showing thumbnails of each of the images I have of that object. Click on one of these thumbnails and you will reach the third level of the gallery - a large image along with the credit and a link to the site it came from. To return to the first or second levels, use the "go back one page" arrow in the browser.

A note about viewing the large images - some of them are too large to fit on the screen, even if you are using the highest resolution available. You can use the scroll bars at the bottom and side of the panel to navigate around the image. If you want to see the entire image, simply click on it.

If you want to learn more about how the site was created, how the images were chosen, and how to get in touch with me, click here. Otherwise, go to it and enjoy.
